European Day of Jewish Culture 2025

The European Day of Jewish Culture will take place simultaneously in around thirty countries on September 7, 2025.

This year’s motto is “People of the Book”. Numerous places in Baden-Württemberg and Alsace have also put together a varied program. The day aims to help raise awareness of European Judaism, its history, traditions and customs. It is a reminder of the contributions of Judaism to the culture of our continent in the past and present.

 The Jewish Museum Creglingen is participating in this day with two offers:

15:00 Guided tour on the Creglingen Jewish cemetery with Ulrich Schönberger

19:00 „Black fire on white fire“
Introduction to the secret of the Hebrew characters with Tuvia Christ
Together we will encounter the 22 letters of the Torah and take a „walk“ through the Jewish year.
