On Friday, March 6, 2026, the Foundation Jewish Museum Creglingen will officially open the 2026 museum year with a concert by the “Duo Kletzmotions.”
With great enthusiasm, fine humor, and expressive musicality, the Duo Klezmotions celebrates Jewish musical tradition in its program “L’Chaim! – To Life!“ with melodies and dances whose roots stretch from the Middle East to the Black Sea. Claudia Burkhardt makes her accordion sound like an entire orchestra – sometimes rhythmically powerful, sometimes soloistic, wistful, and delicate. Her soundscapes interweave with the exuberantly jubilant, narrative, and deeply moving violin sounds of Stefanie Pagnia. She adds additional timbres to the klezmer music by switching between violin, double bass, and cajón. Together with their clear voices and profound yet humorous moderation, the Klezmotions duo offers a concert experience full of joie de vivre, emotion, and captivating stage energy.
The concert will take place on March 6 at 7:00 p.m. at the Jewish Museum.
Admission is free.
